Mankato Area Santa Anonymous

Caring is Sharing

On December 18, The Salvation Army will be distributing the Christmas Food Baskets and the Mankato Area Santa Anonymous programm will be distributing new knitted items such as hats, mittens and scarves along with new books. The Friends of the Deep Valley Libraries will have volunteers there to help parents select age appropriate books for their children. Santa Anonymous will not be distributing the toys that are collected this year. All cash donations will be used bo purchase additional mittens and gloves. All toys that are collected will be delivered to other local organizations that serve the needs of less fortunate children in the area. We will NOT have designated collection sites for toys this year.

The Salvation Army has completed the registration for this year's Christmas Food Baskets as well as the Santa Anonymous distribution. If you have a need please contact The Salvation Army.

With your help the Mankato Area Santa Anonymous Program has collected new toys, books and knitted items since 1974, serving as many as 1300 children in a given year.

We would like to thank individuals, schools, various groups, and businesses for donating and being such an important part of what makes Mankato the amazing community that it is. Together we've made decades of holiday seasons brighter for thousands of less fortunate children in our area.
